Hinged
Full 600mm depth usable, cheaper per running foot. We'll tell you which one your room wants. If it's hinged, we're quoting you the cheaper option. That's fine.
A well-planned wardrobe shapes the entire bedroom. Nail the depth, shutter style, and internal configuration, and everything else falls into place.
In 22 years and 1,250+ homes across Bangalore, we've never had a client complain about their bed-back panelling. We've had plenty of conversations about wardrobes - depth, whether the sliders were worth it, and where the loft went.
So we start there. Not with a mood board.
We serve Indiranagar and nearby areas as well — Domlur, CMH Road, HAL 2nd & 3rd Stage and Old Airport Road — from the same design studio and Dasanapura factory.
The honest answer.
Full 600mm depth usable, cheaper per running foot. We'll tell you which one your room wants. If it's hinged, we're quoting you the cheaper option. That's fine.
Zero swing clearance. You lose 80-100mm of depth to the track, and it costs more per foot. Worth it when the bed is in the way, not as a style choice.
Needs 5x7 ft minimum. Highly realistic in Indiranagar independent houses and larger old flats.
Defence Colony, HAL 2nd & 3rd Stage. Space for a genuine walk-in - 5x7 ft is enough. Full-height wardrobes with lofts, and original wooden windows worth designing around rather than boxing in.
12th Main, CMH Road. Compact masters, high-ish ceilings, and the same staircase constraint as the kitchens - modules get sized to the building before production.
Off 100 Feet Road, Domlur border. 9.5-10 ft ceilings. A loft is possible but tighter, and we'll tell you honestly when it isn't worth the money.
Indiranagar has a lot of them. A landlord's wardrobe brief is durability, simple hinged shutters, and hardware that survives tenant turnover. That's a real spec, not a downgrade.
The laminate tier varies. The board and the hardware don't.
| Shutters | 18mm HDHMR |
| Carcass | MR plywood; BWP where a wardrobe shares a wall with a bathroom - common in builder flats |
| Hardware | Hettich or Häfele - soft-close hinges, tandem drawer channels, sliding track systems |
| Production | Cabinet Vision at our own Dasanapura factory |

Wardrobes are priced per running foot. A full bedroom package including wardrobe, bed-back and lighting is quoted as one itemised line.
Payment is staged 10 / 50 / 35 / 5.
Our 10-year warranty applies to modular kitchens. Bedroom furniture carries 7 years (on carcass and shutters from date of project inspection), plus 1 year on workmanship. Hardware carries its own manufacturer warranty. We'd rather state that plainly than promise a number we don't honour.

Between old bungalow masters and new high-rise bedrooms, Indiranagar wardrobes span a wide range of briefs. The factory-vs-carpenter gap holds steady across all of them.
| Criteria | DezinePro — Factory-Made | Typical Carpenter-Made |
|---|---|---|
| Board | 18mm HDHMR shutters, MR/BWP carcass matched to the wall it sits against. | Mixed board grades, often undisclosed at the quoting stage. |
| Precision | CNC-cut at Dasanapura; shutters align without gaps. | Site-cut; small misalignments are common and compound across the wardrobe's width. |
| Hardware | Hettich/Häfele soft-close hinges and tandem channels, rated for years of daily cycles. | Local hinges and channels commonly work loose within a year or two. |
| Loft & internal layout | Planned to your room's actual ceiling height and storage need. | Often an afterthought, added only if the budget stretches. |
| Warranty | 7 years, written, from the date of inspection. | Typically no written warranty on carpenter-built furniture. |
| Delivery to older buildings | Modules sized to the stairwell at survey, before production. | Built on-site, so access isn't a planning problem — but build time runs longer. |
Whether it's a walk-in in a Defence Colony bungalow or a compact hinged wardrobe in a rental flat, the board and hardware behind the shutter decide how it ages.
Pricing is per running foot, depending on shutter type, loft inclusion and internal fit-out. Book a free consultation for an exact number.
Yes. A walk-in needs roughly 5x7 ft, which older Indiranagar independent houses and larger flats often have. We assess it at survey against your room's actual dimensions.
In older Indiranagar houses with 10-11 ft ceilings, yes - it adds roughly 30-35% more storage for a fraction of the per-foot cost of the wardrobe below. In newer 9.5 ft flats it's tighter and sometimes isn't worth the money.
7 years on wardrobes and bedroom furniture from the date of project inspection, plus 1 year on workmanship. Our 10-year warranty is specific to modular kitchens.
Yes. Modules are sized to the stairwell at survey, before production is released.
15 - 30 days from execution start for a single room including wardrobe and finishing.
Old bungalow masters in Defence Colony and HAL Stage often have room for a genuine 5x7 ft walk-in with a full-height loft. Newer 9.5–10 ft flats are tighter, and we'll tell you honestly when a loft isn't worth the cost there.
Sliding costs more per running foot and loses roughly 80–100mm of internal depth to the track. Hinged is cheaper and gives full depth — we'll recommend hinged unless a bed or door genuinely blocks the swing clearance.
Yes. Indiranagar has a large share of let-out units, and the brief there is different — durability, simple hinged shutters, and hardware that survives tenant turnover, not showpiece finishes.
Yes — BWP plywood where a wardrobe shares a wall with a bathroom, which is common in Indiranagar builder flats, instead of standard MR ply.
Yes, as one itemised bedroom package — wardrobe, bed-back panelling and lighting — so you can see how each part contributes to the total.
